Jesus
Jesus Christ of Nazareth, born in Bethlehem, did come and save His people from their sin.
The Son of God, the unparalleled YAWH, was birthed by a Virgin Queen.
Glory to God and peace among men, what a gift we have been given by Thee.
A promise was made, yes Jehovah did say, I will one day walk among men.
His feet touched the ground and He was raised from a child but would one day become a man.
Dare He dash His foot on a peddler’s stone, the Father’s hand shall swiftly command the angels to quickly comfort Him.
But don’t forget that He is God, with miracles in His hand; O yes, He can even raise the dead.
For Lazarus did wake at the sound of Christ Jesus, commanding him to walk again.
Make no mistake He is lowly and gentle with a noble heart as vast as space.
No expanse can contain His love, it’s the essence of His entire being.
Made to love but built to rule He won’t be bought or sold.
The Truth lies with Him and He knows the Way to Life eternally.
Hear me now our Savior died only to live again.
So you and me could all be free He bared a naked tree.
But not before they beat Him so and stole His humanity.
Little did they know He would walk through doors bolted, locked and secured all to save mankind.
Yes, risen from the dead on Resurrection Sunday, He’s the first to taste new life.
Never again shall He fall asleep or be buried in a tomb.
He reigns forever and will someday soon return to Mother Earth.
