My Story

 Hello, my friends in Christ,

Welcome to my story.

I want to share that I have been walking with God for a long time, but the truth is, He has been walking with me all my life. However, I only became aware of His presence a few short years ago.

I was born in Biloxi, Mississippi, a small seafood industry town along the Gulf Coast. At a very young age, I began to experience the supernatural. I heard an audible voice in my closet—a man speaking to me. What He said changed me forever, and His words came to pass.

Throughout my youth, teenage years, and even into adulthood, I experienced various supernatural phenomena. However, during my adolescence, I picked up a habit that quickly escalated into an addiction, which I used to mask the effects of these experiences. My relationship with alcohol started around the age of thirteen and progressed rapidly. Before I knew it, I was an alcoholic at a very young age. I drank for many years, well into my late thirties.

My addiction to alcohol left me feeling incredibly lonely. I was not only chasing the drink but also searching for love and connection. I had several relationships and identified as bisexual, but every human relationship I tried ended in failure. My struggle with alcohol was overwhelming, and I believed my addiction would never end.

For twenty-three years, I clung to my love of alcohol. I was a functioning alcoholic, seemingly successful with all the amenities money could buy, yet deep down inside, I was overwhelmingly miserable. I tried everything to overcome my addiction, but nothing worked.

Then, unexpectedly, I became deathly ill. In so much pain, fear consumed me, and I began pleading, “The man in my closet said thirty-six!” I was terrified that I was dying and that I would not make it past thirty-six, as I had been told.

I followed the doctors' advice and backed off drinking for several days, but the shakes and craziness drove me back to alcohol. Then, one day, I found myself kneeling on the bathroom floor, pleading with God, “God, please don't let me die this way!”

I’m here to tell you, my friends, that I have been sober ever since! Writing that gives me chills. It’s incredible to think that the Lord answered my prayer instantly! Twelve years have passed, and I have not had a single craving. Not even stress or exhaustion has caused me to waver in my sobriety. I have been praising God ever since, and sharing my story has become my mission.

Now for the kicker! You might think my life is "perfect" now that I’m a Christian, but that’s not the case! My new life in Christ came with a price. All the supernatural phenomena I had ignored in my early years came flooding back like a ton of bricks. I was sober, but my experiences with the extreme supernatural had just begun! The hallucinations and vivid dreams returned, and I became so overwhelmed and confused that I believed God wanted me to take my own life to save the world. So, I attempted suicide.

By the grace of God, I was revived after three days in a coma!

In the hospital, my visions were labeled hallucinations by medical professionals. They were so vivid that I experienced tactile, auditory, and visual hallucinations. A tactile hallucination is when you feel something touching you. These are the most common for me, and I must confess that some of them are sexual in nature.

Here are five visions/hallucinations that I think may interest you:

1. Two-legged hooves walking on tile flooring – audible

2. Sexual temptation – tactile

3. A black spot over the sun – visual

4. A communist flag over a garden – visual

5. Aliens in a garden – visual

That’s my story, y’all. I hope you found it interesting. It is now my mission to share my story and the Gospel of Jesus Christ to encourage others in the Lord.

Check out my “Recovery Steps” page to find out how with Jesus and the Holy Bible I cope with ongoing hallucinations. Take care.

Jesus loves you! Yes, you!

Frances
